Broccoli Salad

3 cups broccoli florets and chopped stems 1 cup raisins 10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled (optional) ½ cup diced red onion or shallots ½ cup sunflower seeds 1/3 cup shredded cheese   2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar ¾ cup plain yogurt or mayonnaise Combine syrup, vinegar and yogurt or mayonnaise to make a smooth dressing.  Mix all other ingredients together.  Pour dressing over salad and stir together.
