News from the Farm!

Things on the farm change from season to season, and that is why we like to make sure to have at least one activity on the farm every month.  That way, every partner can have the opportunity to visit and see how things change from season to season!

In July, we will be holding a participatory work day on Friday, July 18th.  If all goes as planned, we will be harvesting garlic!  Harvesting garlic is a big job that is great to have lots of help with!  The day will be from 10am to 4pm and will include a potluck lunch in the middle!  We will send more details next week, but mark it in your calendar and please RSVP if you plan to come.

In August, we will be holding our first ever Skillshare Weekend!  The weekend will be like an informal conference, where anyone can teach a workshop and anyone can take a workshop!  We have space for people to camp overnight, and meals will be potluck.  We are still looking for folks to give workshops, and we have also started taking registrations of people who would like to attend.  You can find all of the information on the Skillshare on this page.  To register for a workshop and/or to attend, please email skillshare@fermeauxchampsquichantent.com.  Space is limited, so please do register in advance!

In September we will host our annual work day and Harvest Party, mark your calendars for September 20th!  And in October we will close the season with another participatory work day, hopefully to plant the garlic for 2015!

We look forward to seeing everyone out sometime this summer or fall!
